Audi A3 Engine Manifold Replacement
This customer brought his 2009 Audi A3 S line in to us with the car seeming to run ok but with an engine management light on the dashboard.
After some investigation using the latest diagnostics equipment we identified that the problem was with the inlet manifold.
Once we removed the manifold it was easy to see that the manifold swirl flaps could not fully open was not allowing enough air to get through to the engine causing the engine management light to come on.
Once we replaced the manifold with a brand new one and reset the faults in the system we took the car out for a drive it the extra air flow makes a huge difference the the smooth take away and performance of the car.
